Something like a Bio.

My favorite clients actually like their customers. I enjoy helping those people make money, because I know I’m doing it by helping a lot of other people feel good about the choices they’ve made and will make again.

I’ve made commercials for 2 million bucks and shot a couple on my own for 35 dollars. I like the 35 dollar ones more. The point is: persuasion need not be expensive, especially now, if the thinking is strong enough.

My favorite quote regarding this business is, “There are no bad assignments, only bad copywriters.”

I was born in Nevada. Grew up on a farm in middle-Minnesota. Went to college in Chicago. And have worked for years in Los Angeles and New York. I am a friend to both the subway and the pickup.

I live between a former 19th Century schoolhouse in Hoboken, NJ and an apartment near Osteria Mozza in Hollywood. I’m addicted to Nancy Silverton’s cooking. I love Virgin America and always fly coach. I ride a 22-year-old BMW motorcycle, and I play a decent game of chess.
